About the role

Join Hearing Australia as a Medical Receptionist in Burnie, providing front‑line support to clients of all ages and backgrounds. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for everyone who walks through the door or calls.

Key responsibilities

• Greet clients, answer telephone enquiries and manage the reception desk.
• Book appointments, process claims, perform data entry and prepare monthly reports.
• Liaise with children, adults and multicultural, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients, addressing their specific needs.
• Carry out minor hearing‑aid repairs, troubleshooting and demonstrate device use.
• Assist clinicians by identifying client needs and offering professional advice.

Required profile

• Willingness to take ownership of tasks and support a diverse community.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced computer literacy.
• Experience with mobile technology (Apple and Android applications).
