Medical Practitioner – Contrast Supervision (Casual)

About the role

Canberra Imaging is seeking qualified Medical Practitioners to provide on‑site clinical support during contrast administration by radiographers and nuclear medicine technologists. These casual positions require a minimum of two days per week across multiple sites in the ACT and surrounding NSW regions, offering flexibility for those in specialist training or with an interest in medical imaging.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the safe administration of contrast agents.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage any incidents.
• Collaborate closely with radiographers and nuclear medicine technologists.
• Utilise downtime for study or professional development as needed.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Valid professional indemnity insurance.
• Up‑to‑date Anaphylaxis and CPR certifications.
