Medical Affairs Associate

About the role

Montu is seeking a Medical Affairs Associate to act as the bridge between commercial marketing output and clinical‑regulatory standards. Working within the Marketing team, you will ensure that all B2C and B2B content for Alternaleaf, Leafio and Montu Brands is scientifically rigorous, evidence‑based and compliant with TGA advertising guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Review all external‑facing content and marketing assets for accuracy, evidence support and TGA compliance (S8 scheduled medicines and medicinal cannabis).
• Provide clear, actionable compliance advice to the Content and Marketing teams.
• Respond to internal requests for scientific or technical information and conduct systematic literature reviews on relevant therapeutic areas.
• Prepare clinical summaries and concise evidence syntheses for internal briefings and HCP‑facing distribution.
• Support prescriber and pharmacist education initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong background in medical affairs, clinical communications or a related scientific discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply TGA advertising regulations.
• Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple compliance reviews simultaneously.
