Media & Communications Advisor

About the role

The Media & Communications Advisor joins the Communications team at Albury Wodonga Health, supporting the organisation’s services, priorities and reputation across a large regional health network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver media and communication activities across traditional and digital channels.
• Lead proactive media opportunities and manage media enquiries.
• Produce clear, engaging content that supports initiatives, projects and public‑health messaging.
• Respond quickly to emerging issues in a fast‑moving healthcare environment.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience in media and communications, including managing enquiries and creating content for both digital and traditional platforms.
• Proven ability to write clearly, exercise sound judgement and deliver high‑quality outputs under pressure.
• Experience building effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external media.
