Mechanical Maintainer – Muchea Processing Plant

About the role

Tronox is seeking a Mechanical Maintainer for its Chandala Processing Facility in Muchea, Australia. You will work on‑site at the plant, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, and will be home after each shift – no FIFO schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair a wide range of mechanical plant and equipment.
• Identify, report and prevent mechanical failures to ensure plant reliability.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks according to schedule and standards.
• Perform high‑quality workmanship and adhere to safety and sustainability procedures.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team and other departments to support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in a similar mechanical maintenance role is highly desired.
• Strong alignment with Tronox core values and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and build positive relationships across the organisation.
• Full‑time availability for a permanent position.
