Mechanical Engineer – Minerals Processing Brownfields

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our Minerals Processing Brownfields team in Adelaide. You will develop mechanical design solutions from concept through detailed design, supporting a range of energy, chemicals and mineral processing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, engineering scopes and other design documentation.
• Perform mechanical and piping design calculations and analysis.
• Develop mechanical and piping design concepts.
• Liaise with equipment vendors to obtain inputs for engineering design.
• Provide engineering inputs to 3D modelling and 2D drawings.
• Execute tasks in line with project budgets and schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a design/consultancy environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when needed.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Clear and concise technical writing ability.
