Mechanical Engineer – Design & Support (2 positions)

About the role

Korvest Ltd is expanding its engineering team at the Kilburn head office in South Australia. We are looking for two motivated Mechanical Engineers to design engineered products, support large infrastructure projects and help shape product development for a nationally recognised brand.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new engineered product solutions for cable and pipe support systems.
• Conduct engineering assessments for cold‑ and fire‑rated support systems.
• Provide engineering support for large‑scale cable ladder installations, including tunnels and major infrastructure projects.
• Investigate and resolve mechanical issues during design and product implementation phases.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and product design.
• Liaise directly with clients, contractors and external engineering consultants.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing, industrial, design or product engineering.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design and engineering analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective teamwork and collaboration across engineering, manufacturing and project teams.
• Hands‑on or trade background is highly regarded.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks).
• Mechanical design and engineering analysis.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Exposure to automation systems or manufacturing equipment.
