Mechanic – Full Time (Wangaratta)

About the role

Pacific Hire is seeking a dedicated Mechanic to join its Wangaratta branch. You will be responsible for keeping a wide range of hire equipment safe, serviced and ready for customers. The role is full‑time, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am‑5:00 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across a variety of equipment.
• Maintain up‑to‑date service records for all work performed.
• Minimise operational downtime of hire equipment.
• Promote safety in the workplace.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on all hire assets.

Required profile

• Trade qualifications and a valid forklift licence.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Experience with petrol and diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics and basic electrical systems.
• High level of customer service and a can‑do attitude.
• Effective time‑management and attention to detail.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Australian work authorisation.
