Materials Technician - Canning Vale

About the role

Bureau Veritas Australia is looking for a Materials Technician to carry out client testing and inspection requirements in Melbourne. The role suits someone with extensive experience in a similar inspection position, working on Magnetic Particle and Ultrasonic Non-Destructive Testing methods on large-scale industrial, mining or oil and gas sites. Good client relationship skills and the ability to work autonomously are also valued.

Required profile

• AINDT / PCN / ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in MT and UT
• AINDT / PCN / ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in PAUT is advantageous
• Confined space, gas test atmosphere and working at heights tickets
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• An understanding and commitment to HSE
• Advanced attention to detail and organisational skills
