Materials Logistics Officer

About the role

The Materials Logistics Officer will support short‑to‑medium term maintenance activities across all PLS assets, ensuring the equipment fleet remains highly available, safe and cost‑effective. Based at the Pilgangoora operation, the role works on an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO in the Pilbara region.

Key responsibilities

• Follow the PLS Work Management Procedure and use Pronto (CMMS) and ERP to track incoming and outbound deliveries.
• Check goods against delivery notes for accuracy and process receipts on internal HME systems.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload materials safely.
• Monitor movement of HME goods and update tracking data for accurate information.
• Coordinate dispatch and collections with the main warehouse and liaise with freight companies for status updates.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe HME warehouse environment.
• Support order fulfilment and HME teams, performing general administrative duties as required.
• Demonstrate understanding of PLS safety and environmental policies and report any incidents or potential hazards.

Required profile

• Ability to work on a FIFO schedule and adapt to shift patterns.
• Strong attention to detail when checking and recording deliveries.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant warehouse environment.
• Willingness to support HSE initiatives and report incidents promptly.
• Basic administrative competence for record‑keeping and data entry.

Required skills

• Experience with Pronto CMMS.
• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Forklift operation certification.
