Material Requirements Planner – Supply Chain

About the role

Nestlé is looking for a proactive Material Requirements Planner to ensure the continuous availability of raw and packaging materials for its Blayney dry and wet factories. You will coordinate ordering, stock cover, storage, and call‑off processes while supporting production schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and order raw and packaging materials to meet SAP demand, Kanban targets, and production needs.
• Monitor deliveries, follow up overdue supplies, and act as escalation point for delivery or quantity issues.
• Maintain inventory levels according to stock‑cover targets, managing ageing and expiry to minimise write‑offs.
• Identify material shortages, coordinate stakeholder discussions and shortage meetings.
• Handle material changes, quality issues, RTV and disposal processes with warehouse, production, and suppliers.
• Track and report supplier performance, contracts, and risks; escalate issues to procurement and site leadership.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives, invoice resolution and supply‑chain reporting.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent in Supply Chain/Logistics (preferred).
• 2+ years of operational buying experience.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with external parties.
• Analytical mindset with ability to conduct data analysis.
• Warehouse knowledge and ability to anticipate implications of issues.
