About the role

Stephanies Spa Retreat, located within the Sofitel Brisbane Central, is looking for a skilled and passionate Massage Therapist. This is a casual position offering up to 32 hours per week across a seven-day roster, suited to an experienced therapist who enjoys a luxury hotel spa environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a range of massage and body treatments to the Stephanies signature standard
• Perform thorough guest consultations, tailoring treatments to individual needs and preferences
• Maintain impeccable treatment room presentation and hygiene standards
• Contribute to a warm, professional and welcoming guest experience from arrival to departure
• Take part in ongoing training and development through Stephanies Collective
• Retail and recommend Skin Editions products where appropriate to enhance guest outcomes
• Support the team during busy periods and help deliver seamless spa operations

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Massage Therapy (or equivalent recognised qualification)
• At least 1 year of professional massage therapy experience; hotel or luxury spa experience highly regarded
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine warmth
• Professional presentation and attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible hours across a seven-day roster including weekends
• Current First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain one

Required skills

• Desirable: Diploma of Remedial Massage or additional bodywork modalities
• Desirable: experience with hot stone, pregnancy or deep tissue massage techniques
• Desirable: knowledge of skincare and wellness products
