Marketing Manager – Build & Lead B2B Tech Marketing Function

About the role

We are partnering with an established Australian B2B technology company to create its first dedicated Marketing function. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the end‑to‑end marketing process – from positioning and content creation to demand generation and events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a demand‑generation strategy, including lead flow, attribution and reporting.
• Create customer case studies, testimonials, video stories and high‑quality marketing and sales content.
• Own website content, structure and ongoing development.
• Plan and run targeted customer and industry events from concept to execution.
• Produce sales enablement, pitch, tender and bid collateral.
• Establish marketing technology stack and a structured customer communications program.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of B2B technology or software marketing experience.
• Hands‑on experience as the first or sole marketer in a small team.
• Excellent writing and storytelling ability, with experience interviewing customers.
• Comfortable moving between strategy and execution and working autonomously.
• Proactive, solution‑focused mindset with strong commercial awareness.
