Marketing Coordinator – Australia & New Zealand

About the role

The Marketing Coordinator will support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and brand initiatives for Salomon across Australia and New Zealand. Working closely with Marketing, Sales, Retail and Merchandising teams, the role ensures brand consistency and excellence in all touch‑points.

Key responsibilities

• Brief and manage the PR agency in line with brand strategy and campaign priorities.
• Manage KOL, ambassador and athlete outreach programmes.
• Coordinate product seeding initiatives, including delivery, tracking and reporting.
• Support social‑media content planning and local community engagement programmes.
• Assist in the rollout and execution of marketing activations and events.
• Create, deliver and brief marketing assets for retail, trade and digital channels.
• Collaborate with creative, brand and digital teams on briefings and asset production.
• Maintain relationships with external printers and suppliers to ensure high‑quality outputs.
• Raise and manage purchase orders and invoices, keeping tracking documents up‑to‑date.
• Support brand campaigns and in‑season initiatives, aligning with sales, retail and merchandising teams.

Required profile

• Highly organised and enthusiastic with a passion for outdoor sports and community engagement.
• Proven experience coordinating events from concept to completion.
• Solid understanding of marketing fundamentals across social media, digital platforms, content creation and reporting.
• Strong copy‑writing skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
• Basic photography skills (phone or camera) and confidence contributing to creative briefs.
• Data‑driven mindset with the ability to measure, analyse and communicate results.
