Marketing Assistant Intern

About the role

Study & Work offers a 12-week Marketing Assistant Internship with Henkel, a global organisation celebrating 150 years of innovation in 2026. The internship gives students and recent graduates exposure to several areas of marketing within a multinational business, with practical work and Australian corporate experience. It is based in Kilsyth, Melbourne, on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 3 days in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with brand marketing campaigns and promotional activities
• Support social media initiatives and digital content
• Help with marketing events, activations and product launches
• Take part in brainstorming sessions and marketing team meetings
• Support website content updates and product uploads
• Help with marketing materials and presentations
• Carry out basic market and competitor research
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support general marketing administration and ad hoc projects

Required profile

• Currently studying or recently completed Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business or a related qualification
• Interest in branding, digital marketing and consumer products
• Previous marketing experience is advantageous but not essential
• Willingness to attend the Melbourne office at least 3 days per week and reliable transport to the office

Required skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and social media platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Creative, proactive, organised and able to work in a team
