Marine Maintenance Supervisor

About the role
This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a leading Western Australian organisation that manages critical marine infrastructure. As the Civil Marine Maintenance Supervisor you will lead both planned and reactive maintenance activities across a range of marine civil assets.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day maintenance activities and small marine civil projects.
- Supervise contractors delivering planned, reactive and shutdown works.
- Prepare scopes of work, review inspection reports and update asset registers.
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure safety, quality and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate site inductions, permits and act as surveillance officer.
- Support budget preparation, maintenance scheduling and liaise with planners on job progress.
Required profile
- Trade qualification in Civil or Marine Construction, or extensive relevant experience.
- Proven experience in marine civil infrastructure maintenance or construction.
- Strong background in maintenance supervision and contractor management.
- Current ‘C’ or ‘CA’ Class Driver’s Licence.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
What we offer
- 6‑month temporary contract with potential extension.
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Competitive hourly rate (rate expectations requested).
- Location in Fremantle, working on critical marine infrastructure projects.
