Manufacturing Team Leader

About the role

Bega Group is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Team Leader to lead safe, efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations at its Smithfield site in Western Sydney. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the role supports team performance, drives continuous improvement and fosters a culture of safety, accountability and engagement. The site makes more than 60 fruit juice, fruit drink and water ice products, including The Juice Brothers, Daily Juice, Mildura and Zooper Dooper.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets and operational KPIs
• Promote a strong safety culture through compliance, coaching and continuous risk management
• Maintain quality standards and manage non-conformances
• Drive continuous improvement to improve efficiency and reduce waste
• Develop, coach and support team members to reach performance and development goals

Required profile

• Demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing, production or operational environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot operational issues
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship management skills
• Collaborative approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and team development
• Availability to work a permanent afternoon shift roster, Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 10:00pm
