Manufacturing Stores Labourer

About the role

This hands‑on Manufacturing Stores Labourer position is based in Campbellfield, Melbourne and supports a respected Australian manufacturer supplying the mining industry. You will work within a busy production environment, moving materials, replenishing stock and keeping the stores area organised and safe.

Key responsibilities

• Manually pick, sort and pack finished products for production.
• Receive, check and put away finished goods and associated parts.
• Replenish materials across multiple manufacturing areas.
• Conduct stock counts, assist with stock rotation and report discrepancies.
• Operate pallet jacks, trolleys and other material‑handling equipment.
• Maintain clean, safe and organised store areas.
• Assist with general stores, labouring and housekeeping duties.

Required profile

• Previous experience in manufacturing, stores, labouring or production support.
• Ability to perform physical and repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Comfortable handling loads up to 25 kg.
• Reliable, punctual attendance with strong safety awareness.
• Practical attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Forklift licence (preferred).
• Pallet jack operation.
• Materials handling equipment operation.
