Manager – Valuations

About the role

KPMG’s Valuation Services team is expanding in Brisbane and seeks a Manager‑level professional to lead valuation engagements, mentor junior staff and contribute to business development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end valuation projects, from planning through delivery, ensuring high‑quality client outcomes.
• Develop and review financial models, apply traditional and innovative valuation methodologies, and produce insightful reports.
• Engage with clients to understand performance, cash‑flow forecasts and valuation drivers, building long‑term relationships.
• Support business development through proposals, pitch packs and internal initiatives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in valuations (income, market, cost) or corporate finance, with strong analytical and report‑writing abilities.
• Commercial mindset, resilience, collaborative spirit and ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a track record of mentoring junior team members.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for financial analysis and modelling.
• Financial modelling and valuation techniques.
• Data analytics, simulations and visualisation tools.
