Manager - Transaction Diligence

About the role

EY-Parthenon is hiring a Manager in Transaction Diligence in Melbourne, working on complex buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for private equity and corporate clients across retail, consumer products, manufacturing and industrial markets. The position is hybrid and can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours.

Key responsibilities

• Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements
• Analyse financial performance (quality of earnings, working capital, cash flow) to support investment decisions and deal structuring
• Deliver client-ready outputs while managing stakeholder relationships and supporting junior team development

Required profile

• 2+ years' experience at Manager level within a Financial Due Diligence team
• Big 4 or second-tier consulting experience leading buy-side and sell-side transaction engagements
• Experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality due diligence reports to private equity and corporate clients
• Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, commerce, economics or a related discipline
• Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants or international equivalent
• Ideally, experience with private equity and corporate clients across retail, consumer products, manufacturing and industrial markets
