Manager Technology Procurement

About the role

The IT Infrastructure Procurement team manages the commercial lifecycle of technology services suppliers that support the bank's transformation agenda, operational excellence and customer outcomes. Reporting to the Executive Manager, IT Infrastructure Procurement, this role manages the commercial lifecycle of key technology services suppliers supporting Group CTO business priorities, working closely with technology, architecture, engineering, security, risk, legal and finance stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and deliver sourcing, renewal and negotiation initiatives across the IT Infrastructure portfolio.
• Build effective working relationships across Group CTO and relevant business areas.
• Support sourcing and commercial savings through negotiation, contract and commercial management.
• Ensure sourcing activities and supplier engagements align with the Group Supplier Lifecycle Policy and applicable procurement, risk, security and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the broader IT Infrastructure procurement portfolio, including renewals, panel arrangements, transformation programs and cost optimisation.
• Provide commercial analysis, market insights and recommendations to support procurement decisions.

Required profile

• Experience in technology procurement, strategic sourcing or commercial management within a large or complex organisation.
• Experience managing commercial negotiations and delivering value through sourcing and supplier management.
• Strong stakeholder management and commercial acumen, balancing cost, risk, service and business outcomes.
• Experience working within risk and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a growth mindset.
