Manager - Student Life & Wellbeing (Residential Life)

About the role

UniLodge is looking for a Manager - Student Life & Wellbeing (internally called Residential Life Manager) based at UniLodge Park Central. The role leads initiatives that improve resident wellbeing, builds community through programs and events, and mentors a team of Residential Advisors so that students feel supported from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the design, implementation and continuous improvement of programs and events that foster community engagement, wellbeing and student success.
• Recruit, train, coach and motivate Residential Advisors to deliver high-quality support and uphold community standards.
• Monitor resident welfare, give guidance and referrals, and work with university and local support services to ensure holistic care.
• Build a community culture of belonging, safety, diversity and mutual respect.
• Maintain communication and partnerships with university departments, contractors and internal teams.

Required profile

• People-focused leader with strong communication skills and emotional intelligence, committed to student wellbeing.
• Experience leading, motivating and developing high-performing teams.
• Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of wellbeing and mental health literacy.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, able to balance competing priorities during peak periods.
• Unlimited working rights in Australia, a current National Police Check and a Blue Card.
