Manager / Senior Analyst, Internal Audit

About the role
The Internal Audit Team Lead will lead and conduct audits across a wide range of ASX businesses, including markets, securities, payments, technology, risk, compliance, finance and operations. You will work closely with portfolio leads to shape the audit plan and contribute to the overall internal audit strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Develop deep understanding of key business divisions and maintain stakeholder relationships at all levels.
- Plan, execute fieldwork and produce audit reports, delivering value‑added findings and driving change.
- Contribute to continuous monitoring, risk assessment of the audit universe and updates to the audit plan.
- Lead assessments of internal control quality and support improvement of the Group’s risk management framework.
Required profile
- Experience leading or significantly contributing to audits in financial services, with knowledge of capital markets and financial products.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work autonomously and meet timelines and budgets.
- Excellent relationship management, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP) are beneficial.
Required skills
- Data analytics capabilities.
- Audit and risk assessment techniques.
- Understanding of enterprise risk areas such as third‑party risk, operational resilience and data governance.
