Manager, Regulatory Compliance

About the role

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Line 2 Risk and Compliance team at Mercer Super. This hybrid role is based in Melbourne (or Sydney) with a requirement to work in the office at least three days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance in delivering compliance activities and framework uplift across Mercer Super.
• Maintain the Compliance Management Framework and related policies, provide advice to Line 1 Risk & Controls, and assist with obligations, conflicts, and regulatory change management.
• Complete due diligence reviews of externally facing regulated documents and contribute to internal and external reporting.

Required profile

• Experience in a compliance, risk or legal support role within financial services.
• Understanding of governance, risk and compliance practices in a regulated environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to work across the organisation.

Required skills

• Ability to assess regulatory obligations and provide practical advice to stakeholders.
• Experience in superannuation compliance and maintaining an obligations library is a plus.
