Manager, Governance & Reporting

About the role

The Manager, Governance & Reporting will shape how non‑financial risk is governed, understood and managed across ANZ's Corporate Enablement functions. You will aggregate risk insights, coordinate assessments and support senior leaders in making risk‑aware decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide insights on risk and control environments.
• Manage risk profile activities across business units, ensuring clear understanding of risks, controls and risk appetite.
• Coordinate inputs from risk Centres of Excellence, Controls Testing and business teams to develop integrated risk reports.
• Design and improve governance processes, reporting frameworks, dashboards and risk forums.
• Support regulatory change initiatives by coordinating impact assessments, action plans and delivery tracking.
• Lead root‑cause analysis, deep‑dives and lessons‑learned activities arising from events and issues.
• Monitor emerging risks, trends and control weaknesses, escalating material matters as needed.
• Prepare high‑quality governance reporting for executive audiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience in risk governance or related risk management functions.
• Strong analytical ability to synthesize risk data and present clear insights.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills for junior team members.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing senior business leaders.
• Ability to work collaboratively across risk, control and assurance teams.
