Manager, Financial Control

About the role

Mirvac is looking for a Manager, Financial Control – Commercial & Mixed‑Use Development to lead financial accounting deliverables across its development portfolio. Reporting to the Financial Controller, Development, you will partner with internal stakeholders and Group functions to ensure accurate, compliant, and high‑quality financial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate General Ledgers for C&MU Development and joint‑venture entities.
• Lead month‑end close activities, including journals, reconciliations and eliminations.
• Manage joint‑venture reporting, revenue recognition journals and BAS calculations.
• Prepare half‑year and full‑year Group Reporting Packs for statutory accounts.
• Coordinate interim and year‑end audits and review audit workpapers.
• Coach and develop the Financial Accountant and oversee the offshore team.
• Drive continuous improvement of systems, processes and controls.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification.
• 5‑7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in ASX‑listed property, construction, infrastructure or engineering.
• Strong technical accounting capability and ability to apply standards and tax legislation.
• Experience with joint ventures or capital partners is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and commitment to developing others.
