Manager – Comprehensive Assurance

About the role

Marsh is looking for a Manager to join its Risk and Compliance team, based in Melbourne (or Sydney). This hybrid role requires at least three days per week in the office and focuses on delivering comprehensive assurance across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Line 2 monitoring and oversight assurance activities aligned with strategic objectives, material risks and regulatory obligations.
• Maintain tools, operating procedures and documentation for assurance activities, and identify process inefficiencies for improvement.
• Prepare concise risk and compliance reports for senior management and board‑level forums.
• Support the Pacific Risk and Compliance function’s priorities, frameworks, tools and ad‑hoc tasks as directed by the Head of Monitoring & Oversight.

Required profile

• Experience in a risk, compliance or audit role within financial services or professional services.
• Knowledge of regulated financial services environments and ability to interpret relevant legislation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing reports for senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Understanding of risk and compliance frameworks and ability to view risk from commercial and strategic perspectives.
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders and support development of risk and compliance capability.
