Management Accountant – Site based in Wodgina

About the role

MinRes is seeking a Management Accountant to join the Commodities team at its Wodgina Lithium operation. The role is site‑based, reporting to the Senior Management Accountant and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, financial reports and variance analysis.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes and monitor business performance.
• Partner with managers to analyse costs, margins and financial drivers.
• Support decision‑making through financial modelling and business case analysis.
• Contribute to system and process improvements across the finance function.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures and internal controls.

Required profile

• Tertiary degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA) preferred or in progress.
• Established experience in management accounting or financial analysis, preferably in the resources or industrial sector.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/BI systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
