Maintenance Technician (Elevators and Escalators)

About the role

KONE is hiring two Maintenance Technicians for its Service team in Melbourne. You will service and maintain elevators, auto walks and escalators, from low-rise housing to the world's tallest skyscrapers. The role is full-time, in an autonomous environment with support from the wider business.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to maintenance activities and repairs
• Respond to breakdowns on elevators and escalators
• Carry out all work in line with KONE policies and procedures, including health, quality and safety standards
• Maintain customer relationships in the local region
• Be able to start and finish at flexible times and work after hours as required

Required profile

• Registered electrical licence
• Valid full Australian driver's licence
• Experience managing critical breakdowns and key stakeholder expectations
• Customer service mindset and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Applicants must be a permanent resident or citizen of Australia or New Zealand
