Maintenance Plumbing Supervisor - Defence

About the role

Austcorp is recruiting, on behalf of a large Facilities Services Provider, a Maintenance Plumbing Supervisor in Perth. The role leads and coordinates maintenance operations across federal government sites, keeping building services plant and equipment reliable, safe, compliant and fully operational. It is a permanent position with a package of up to $150K.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of direct and contract staff across several sites in Western Australia, managing plumbing and mechanical trades.
• Manage maintenance services, repairs and minor works worth up to $1 million.
• Ensure work orders align accurately with timesheets and reporting systems.
• Oversee contractor safety and compliance, including SWMS and adherence to company risk protocols.
• Monitor and drive monthly KPIs and proactively manage team and contractor performance.
• Maintain contractual compliance through site inspections and raise work orders or quotes as needed.
• Handle client requests and feedback, delivering timely resolutions and clear communication.

Required profile

• Experience using SAP.
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain an NV1 clearance.
• Cert III in Electrotechnology.
• Valid Australian driver's licence.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
