Maintenance Manager - Moulding

About the role

The Maintenance Manager – Moulding leads maintenance, tooling, calibration and equipment reliability for a moulding manufacturing environment, ensuring high equipment uptime and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead maintenance function for moulding operations, developing preventive, predictive and corrective programmes.
• Oversee repair, optimisation and calibration of moulding tools, machinery and supporting equipment.
• Monitor performance metrics, conduct root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions to minimise downtime.
• Partner with Production, Engineering and Quality to identify process improvements, cost reductions and productivity gains.
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership, coaching and performance management for maintenance technicians.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, QMS, OH&S and audit requirements, maintaining accurate maintenance documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in maintenance or manufacturing engineering within moulding or similar environments.
• Proven experience managing maintenance for moulding equipment and tooling.
• Strong knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance, equipment reliability and root‑cause analysis.
• Experience in regulated (GMP) manufacturing preferred.
