About the role
The Maintenance Fitter will work full‑time on‑site at our Adelaide manufacturing facility, ensuring production machinery operates safely and reliably through routine and breakdown maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect plant assets and diagnose mechanical issues.
- Perform repairs, replacements and preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Execute scheduled servicing to reduce breakdowns.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime.
- Maintain tooling, fittings and accurate maintenance records.
- Adhere to safety procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Relevant trade qualification (Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Fitter or equivalent) with manufacturing experience.
- Strong plant maintenance skills, including fault finding and preventive maintenance.
- Solid understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use diagnostic tools.
- Effective communication, reliability and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
