Maintenance Electrician

About the role

The Mulgowie Farming Company is looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the maintenance team at our Mulgowie Packhouse. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance and breakdown support across the facility, working on a rotating six‑day shift roster.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct preventative electrical maintenance on all plant and equipment.
• Repair, install and prioritize breakdown service requirements for machinery.
• Complete all required checks and paperwork accurately.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety, housekeeping and regulatory standards.
• Perform fault finding and diagnostic repairs on electronic equipment and machinery.
• Assist the wider maintenance team in identifying and implementing improvements to increase machine availability.

Required profile

• Australian electrical qualification and a valid electrical licence.
• 3‑5 years of industrial electrical experience, preferably in a food processing environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work unsupervised, meet deadlines and cover early, day and late shifts.
• Residency in Australia or New Zealand with a valid work visa.
