Machine Operator – Packing Line

About the role

Arnott's Group is looking for a Machine Operator to join the Virginia production team. This position involves operating and maintaining packing machinery in a fast‑paced FMCG environment while ensuring product quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, changeovers, operate and troubleshoot packing equipment.
• Feed product onto the line and monitor machine performance.
• Conduct quality control checks throughout each shift.
• Maintain GMP, HACCP and hygiene standards in all process areas.
• Work both independently and collaboratively to meet daily production targets.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous machine operating experience in an FMCG or food production setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence in troubleshooting machinery.
• Understanding of safety, quality and team operating principles.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to attendance and performance standards.
