Low Loader Driver (100T) - Heavy Haulage

About the role

Centurion, a logistics company founded in 1971 with 34 branches across Western Australia, Queensland, the Northern Territory, South Australia and Victoria, is recruiting experienced Heavy Haulage Drivers. The role provides professional and safe transport of over-dimensional and over-mass machinery and equipment to customer-specified destinations.

Key responsibilities

• Loading and unloading varying over-dimensional and over-mass machinery and equipment
• Safely restraining machinery and equipment in accordance with the NTC Load Restraint Guide
• Completing pre-start and other operational checklists and administrative paperwork
• Carrying and understanding all statutory and regulatory permits

Required profile

• MC Driver's licence and demonstrated experience in heavy haulage and specialised transport
• Extensive experience transporting over-dimensional equipment and machinery
• Sound knowledge of road transport legislation, including fatigue management, permit requirements and operating conditions
• Sound experience and knowledge of a 100T low loader

Required skills

• Operating a range of low loader trailers, including towing general trailers up to triple road train when required
• Knowledge of the NTC Load Restraint Guide
