Lolly Trolley Volunteer (Wednesdays) - Residential Aged Care

About the role

HammondCare, an independent Christian charity providing aged care services, is looking for Lolly Trolley volunteers to visit residents in its residential aged care facility on Wednesdays. The visits are one-hour daytime sessions that bring smiles, laughter and companionship to residents, including those living with dementia.

Key responsibilities

• Roll through the cottages on Wednesdays between 10-11am or 1-4pm, delivering favourite treats to residents.
• Engage in one-on-one and small group conversations, helping to spark memories and brighten the day.
• Use the purpose-built trolley so residents can choose their favourite lolly or chocolate.

Required profile

• Available Wednesdays for 1-hour visits, either 10-11am or 1-4pm.
• Aged 18 years or older.
• An NDIS Worker Screening Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare.
