About the role
The Logistics Operations Specialist supports efficient warehouse and supply‑chain activities across multiple sites. The role ensures accurate receipt, storage, movement and dispatch of goods while complying with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, store and issue goods at several warehouse locations, maintaining precise inventory records and SAP transactions.
- Prepare, package, palletise and dispatch consignments, including AMC freight, and complete all required documentation.
- Conduct internal deliveries, assist with stocktakes, investigate discrepancies and support procurement, disposal and inventory planning.
- Provide timely customer service to internal stakeholders and contribute to safe, compliant logistics operations.
Required profile
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Certificate IV in Logistics and Warehousing or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 12 months experience in logistics, warehousing or supply‑chain environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail.
- Australian or US citizenship with NV‑1/SECRET (Defence) or SSBI clearance capability.
Required skills
- Proficiency with SAP and other inventory management systems (WMS).
- Forklift operation and material‑handling equipment experience.
- Inventory analysis and record‑keeping.
