Logistics Coordinator - Balcatta Support Centre

About the role

Sodexo is hiring a Logistics Coordinator for its Balcatta Support Centre in Western Australia, working Monday to Friday for 38 hours. The role sits under the guidance of the Logistics Manager and ensures goods and equipment are supplied safely and efficiently to multiple sites, often in remote or logistically challenging environments. It is a fast-paced, hands-on position acting as a key liaison between site teams, transport providers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, review and initiate resolution of issues and requests raised through the central inbox, Data Station and directly by stakeholders, and coordinate logistics activities between sites, distribution points, vendors and supply chain partners.
• Organise daily third-party logistics operations including inbound and outbound freight, warehousing and last-mile delivery.
• Track response times to Data Station issues, report root causes for those outside the standard closure window, and support logistics performance reports, dashboards and supplier performance analysis on safety, quality, DIFOT, cost and CSR.
• Provide information supporting root cause analyses and investigations, and identify process improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Take ownership of key initiatives, participate in team meetings and training, and support safety, sustainability and digital transformation.
• Keep stakeholders informed on delivery status and delays, ensure adherence to Chain of Responsibility, DG and site-specific requirements, and train site staff.

Required profile

• Completion of Year 12 (or equivalent).
• Certificate-level qualification in Supply Chain Operations or Logistics (Certificate III or Certificate IV).
• Proven track record in logistics across complex, multi-stakeholder environments, with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
