Logistics Clerk – Day Shift – $36/hr + Super

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Logistics Clerk to join a leading building‑materials manufacturer at its busy distribution hub in Carole Park. The role is desk‑based and acts as the central communication link between transport drivers and the warehouse loading floor, ensuring smooth vehicle flow and accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Greet drivers, conduct site safety inductions and assign loading bays.
• Process delivery dockets, manifests and Bills of Lading.
• Perform Chain of Responsibility checks for outbound loads.
• Coordinate yard traffic to minimise dock delays.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing trucks, verifying identity and condition.
• Confirm product loads against dispatch manifests to meet DIFOT targets.
• Log arrival/departure times, cargo quantities and update stock systems using an iPad with Excel and SAP.
• Maintain a safe, compliant yard environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience in dispatch or receiving within a distribution or manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work in a loud, dusty environment.
• Willingness to undergo a drug and alcohol medical test.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
