About the role
A busy, independent pharmacy on the South Coast of Western Australia, about 400 km (4.5 hours) south of Perth, is looking for a locum pharmacist in charge for two weeks. The pharmacy prefers one locum for continuity. You will work as the second pharmacist, supported by two dispensing technicians, a DAA packer and 5-7 other staff.
Schedule
- Week 1: Monday 26 Oct (10am-6pm), Tuesday 27 Oct (8am-4pm), Wednesday 28 Oct (9am-4pm), Sunday 1 Nov (10am-3pm)
- Week 2: Monday 2 Nov (10am-6pm), Tuesday 3 Nov (8am-4pm), Wednesday 4 Nov (8am-4pm), Sunday 8 Nov (10am-3pm)
Key responsibilities
- Check Webster packs
- Deliver vaccinations (required but not essential for this placement)
- Work in a pharmacy that dispenses around 250+ scripts per day using the Z dispensing system; no CPOP
Required profile
- Preference for a candidate from Western Australia
- White pharmacist coat required
What we offer
- Pay of $70 per hour on weekdays and $80 per hour on Sundays, plus superannuation
- Payment made via ABN
- Travel covered at $1.01 cents per km (return trip from Perth only)
- Accommodation provided
