Locum Dentist – General Dentistry, Moruya

About the role

Maven Dental Moruya, a well-established dental clinic in Moruya, NSW, is seeking a locum dentist. The clinic supports a loyal local patient base and offers the chance to join an experienced team in a coastal setting. The position runs from 9 November to 24 December, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct examinations, diagnosis and treatment planning across general dentistry
• Deliver treatments such as restorations, extractions and urgent care, within the scope of your clinical experience
• Manage patient flow and prioritise emergency cases as required
• Communicate treatment plans clearly and educate patients on oral health and preventive care
• Work with dental assistants, oral health therapists and support staff
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with Australian standards and regulations
• Adapt to different practice environments and systems to ensure continuity of care

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 2 years' experience practising in Australia
• Confident working independently across general and emergency dentistry
• Professional indemnity insurance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
