Local Van Driver – Full‑Time (QLD)

About the role

Join Followmont’s professional driver team delivering freight to regional and remote communities across Queensland. This full‑time position involves flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, to ensure reliable local deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Transport general freight to customers, maintaining high service standards.
• Load and unload a variety of parcels safely, with occasional manual handling.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, pre‑start checks and complete required paperwork such as run sheets, PODs and logbooks.

Required profile

• Current C‑class manual driver’s licence.
• Minimum 2 years experience in vehicle operation for deliveries or a comparable customer‑service role.
• Resilient, problem‑solving attitude and ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Strong communication skills with a diverse customer base.
• Willingness to pass a pre‑employment medical, drug/alcohol screen and criminal check.
