Local Delivery Driver / Trade Counter Assistant

About the role

Reece Plumbing is hiring a Local Delivery Driver / Trade Counter Assistant for its Lidcombe branch. You will help plumbers and other tradespeople get the products they need for building and renovation projects and carry out other tasks that keep the branch running smoothly. No industry experience is required, as on-the-job training is provided.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service and give customers information about products
• Provide quotes in person and by phone
• Pick and pack orders and carry out stock control
• Maintain a safe, organised and welcoming branch environment
• Make deliveries to customers using a company vehicle
• Continue upskilling through tailored on-the-job training

Required profile

• Career potential and a growth mindset
• Previous customer service experience and enjoyment of helping people face to face and by phone
• Able to pick orders accurately, keep shop floor displays tidy and give accurate information
• Tech-savvy and adaptable to learning new systems
• Clean, valid driver's licence
• Valid forklift licence is ideal but not essential
