Loader Operator - Multiple Vacancies & Shifts

About the role

BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, is hiring multiple Loader Operators for its production team in Novar Gardens. The role keeps warehouse operations running smoothly and ensures steel products are safely and efficiently prepared for delivery. It is a full-time, permanent position in a busy warehouse environment, with day, afternoon and night shifts available.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift in a busy warehouse environment
• Preload and load steel products onto trucks for despatch
• Move products safely and accurately around the site
• Operate processing machinery as required
• Conduct routine safety and equipment checks
• Assist with general warehouse duties and keep the work area clean and organised
• Work with the team to meet customer and despatch requirements

Required profile

• Current High Risk Work License - Forklift (LF); previous side loader and/or high reach forklift experience highly regarded
• Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or similar operating environment
• Good communication skills, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Team player who respects diversity and values safety

What we offer

• Weekly rate starting from $1,061.72, progressing to $1,158.62 depending on skills and experience
