Litigation Lawyer

About the role

LEAP is seeking a Litigation Lawyer to join its Litigation team, a specialist division building software for litigation practitioners. In this role you will embed your NSW litigation expertise into the product development process, ensuring the tools we create are accurate, practical and valuable for law firms.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to design and prioritise new litigation features based on client feedback, market trends and business needs.
• Provide practical legal insight into workflows, documentation and court processes to guide product design.
• Test and review product functionality, ensuring it meets legal standards and user expectations.
• Help improve existing features and shape new AI‑assisted drafting and reporting tools.
• Work closely with the Litigation Vertical Manager and other lawyers to translate legal requirements into technical specifications.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with hands‑on experience in general litigation, preferably in NSW.
• Strong interest in learning about legal technology and product development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams including product, design and engineering.
• Excellent communication skills and a client‑focused mindset.
