Lifestyle Coordinator - Aged Care

About the role

Estia Health is looking for a Lifestyle Coordinator in Benalla to lead its lifestyle and volunteer team in providing personal, social and emotional care and support to residents. The coordinator creates, implements and maintains resident lifestyle programs that match the changing needs and preferences of residents.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and maintain lifestyle programs in line with residents' needs and preferences
• Maintain and document the budgetary requirements for the program
• Provide guidance on recruiting Lifestyle Assistants
• Offer new ideas to engage residents
• Comply with the Cora quality management system
• Build genuine relationships with residents and their families
• Create programs that give residents social, emotional and spiritual fulfilment
• Coordinate group activities inside and outside the home
• Set lifestyle goals for residents and run programs to help them achieve them
• Work closely with the wider support team in the home

Required profile

• A passion for building genuine relationships and seeing residents enjoy themselves
• Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure (or equivalent)
• Standard driver's licence
