About the role

Leidos Australia is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (B1 LAME) to join its Cairns engineering team. You will be responsible for performing and certifying aircraft maintenance in support of government maritime surveillance and search‑and‑rescue missions.

Key responsibilities

Carry out all licensed aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with MOE, procedure manuals and CAMO requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation, certifications and shift handovers, ensuring critical maintenance tasks are completed before issue of a CRS.

Required profile

Current B1 LAME licence (or dual licence) with heavy and line maintenance experience.
Hold a DHC8 classic or CL604 type rating and full Australian working rights.

Required skills

Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (B1) competency.
Heavy and line maintenance expertise on DHC8/CL604 aircraft.
