Level 3 System Administrator

About the role

Epic IT is seeking a highly experienced Level 3 System Administrator to join its Managed Service Provider team in North Perth. The role focuses on resolving high‑severity infrastructure issues for a diverse client base and requires deep technical expertise across servers, networking, security, and cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for complex, high‑severity technical escalations, ensuring rapid resolution and clear client communication.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of recurring problems and implement preventive solutions across client environments.
• Provide expert‑level support for servers, networking equipment, firewalls, Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS platforms.
• Monitor client infrastructure with RMM tools, proactively identifying and mitigating potential downtime.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in infrastructure and network management, including Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on rapid issue resolution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
