Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Education Focused) – Phase Coordinator (Rural)

About the role
The University is seeking an Education‑Focused Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to act as Phase Coordinator for the rural clinical campus in Albury. This part‑time, fixed‑term position (10.5 hrs/week) supports undergraduate medical students through teaching, assessment and curriculum delivery in a rural health environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality medical education across a designated phase of the undergraduate medicine program.
- Coordinate clinical placements, student assessment and examinations.
- Develop and implement rurally focused learning activities and curriculum content.
- Foster partnerships with Local Health Districts, Primary Health Networks and faculty colleagues.
- Provide mentorship and support to students and junior staff.
Required profile
- Medical degree (BMedMD, MBBS or equivalent) with Fellowship of a Specialist Medical College.
- Current registration to practice medicine in New South Wales.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching clinical medicine and supervising student placements.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development in pedagogy and medical education.
Required skills
- Proficiency with educational technologies.
- Experience delivering online and blended learning.
