Lecturer in Physiotherapy

About the role

Monash University is seeking a Lecturer in Physiotherapy for its Peninsula campus, joining the Department of Physiotherapy in January 2027. The role contributes to engaging education across entry-to-practice courses, with a focus on evidence-based practice, cultural safety, professional behaviour and global citizenship. It is a full-time, fixed-term appointment until 27 June 2027, paid $123,138-$146,228 per year (Level B) plus 17% employer superannuation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop curriculum and support student learning across acute, subacute and community settings.
• Deliver lectures, tutorials, practical, simulation and clinical learning activities, and supervise, assess and coordinate subjects.
• Collaborate with clinical and industry partners and supervise student research.
• Contribute to scholarly activities.

Required profile

• A recognised physiotherapy qualification and AHPRA registration.
• Experience in tertiary teaching and curriculum development.
• Flexibility across clinical and non-clinical subject areas, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Present valid and current Australian work rights.
• Desirable: a post-graduate Masters or PhD; experience coordinating clinical education or coursework units; research, data analysis and academic writing capability.
